KSP Arrests Beaver Dam Man For Drugs and DUI

Trooper Located Suspected Methamphetamine and Pills

 BEAVER DAM, Ky. (May 16, 2018)—Kentucky State Police responded to a report of a person passed out behind the wheel of a car on High Drive in Beaver Dam just before 5pm yesterday. When the trooper arrived, he observed the driver, Danny L. Miller, 27 of Beaver Dam in the driver’s seat with his car door open and feet hanging out. Miller was not responsive but the trooper was able to wake him up. While investigating, the trooper determined Miller had operated his vehicle under the influence with his four year-old child moments before the call. During the arrest, the trooper located methamphetamine and various opioid prescription pills. Miller was arrested and charged with:

1)      Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense-Methamphetamine

2)      Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

3)      Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Opiates

4)      Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence-1st Offense

5)      Prescription Not in Proper Container-1st Degree

6)      Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree

 

He was transported and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
