KSP Arrests Owensboro Woman For Drugs and Warrants

Trooper and Canine Locate Suspected Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Pills

OWENSBORO, Ky. (May 22, 2018)—Kentucky State Police troopers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant in the 4600 block of New Hartford Drive in Owensboro yesterday around 7:30pm. When the trooper arrived, he observed Cheyenne Shouse, 26 of Owensboro in a vehicle located on the property. While investigating, the trooper determined Shouse had active warrants for her arrest. During the arrest, the trooper and a Daviess County Sheriff’s deputy with canine located suspected methamphetamine in a syringe, marijuana and Diazepam. She was transported to the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro but while there, a deputy jailer located methamphetamine hidden on her person. She was charged with:

1)      Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine

2)      Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

3)      Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree-Unspecified

4)      Possession of Marijuana

5)      Promoting Contraband-1st Degree

6)      Tampering with Physical Evidence

7)      Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense-Methamphetamine (Warrant Service for Owensboro Police Department)

8)      Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Warrant Service for Owensboro Police Department)

9)      Probation Violation-For Felony Offence (Warrant Service for Other Agency)
