Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Muhlenberg County

MADISONVILLE, KY. (October 13, 2025) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 in Madisonville is investigating a fatal collision involving two vehicles that occurred October 13, 2025 in Muhlenberg County. 

At approximately 7:03 PM CT, Muhlenberg County Dispatch contacted KSP Post 2 requesting assistance with a single vehicle collision near the 8 mile-marker on US-62 in Greenville, Kentucky. 

A preliminary investigation indicates Nicholas Brown, 19 years old of Central City, Kentucky was operating a sedan when he left the roadway overturning multiple times and was ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Brown was airlifted to a nearby Hospital. 

On October 20, 2025 Mr. Brown succumbed to injuries from the collision at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. 

The investigation is ongoing and is being led Trooper Leevi McMillin (U/927) of the Kentucky State Police.
