MADISONVILLE, Ky. (October 16, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 in Nortonville is accepting applications for a full-time Public Safety Telecommunicator I. This position plays a vital role in public safety by answering emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching Troopers and other emergency personnel, and providing critical information during emergency situations.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualifying experience. Candidates should possess strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills and be able to perform under pressure. The position offers an annual salary of $41,084.16, with eligibility for overtime. Selected applicants must be willing to work variable shifts and complete required training and certification.
