Kentucky State Police Post 2 Investigates Fatal Collision in Muhlenberg County

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (February 17, 2026) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 was contacted on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM CT by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and requested to investigate a fatal collision near the 6500 block of KY Highway 81 in Sacramento, Kentucky.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a minivan, operated by Brandi Eaves, 48, of Powderly, Kentucky, was traveling southbound on KY 81 when it collided with the rear of a dump trailer being hauled by a Chevrolet Silverado. 

Brandi Eaves was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner. Family has been notified.

The collision remains under investigation by Detective Brian Graves (Unit 1082) with Kentucky State Police Post 2.
