
KSP Recovers Stolen Vehicle
Oak Grove, Ky. (Christian County) – On February 21, 2020 at approximately 6:49 PM, Trooper Daniel Holland of Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, Observed a 2018 White Jeep Renegade enter I-24 via the on ramp from KY-115. While merging into traffic, the Jeep nearly struck another vehicle, and then continued to follow that vehicle too closely.
Trooper Holland initiated a traffic stop on the Jeep, where he came in contact with the operator, identified as Rashylah Boaze, age 24, of Florissant, Missouri. Also in the vehicle was a passenger, identified as Devan Cockroft, age 23, of St. Charles, Missouri. Through further investigation, Trooper Holland discovered the Jeep had been reported stolen to the Houstan Police Department in Texas.
Rashylah Boaze was arrested and lodged in the Christian County Detention Center, where she was charged with the following:
- Disregard- Fail to Yield Right of Way
- Following Another Vehicle too Closely
- No Operator’s/Moped License
- Failure to Produce Insurance Card
- Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or More
Devan Cockroft was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or More and lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
