KSP Investigating Shooting In Marion
Chase Bingham was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center
Marion, KY (Crittenden County) – On March 11, 2019 at approximately 10:17 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville was requested by Marion Police Department to investigate a shooting that occurred on West Main Street in Marion.
Through investigation, KSP Detectives Jonathan Murphy and Brandon McPherson discovered Chase Bingham, age 28, of Morgantown, KY, shot Victoria Clifford, age 26, of Marion, KY, during a domestic altercation. Bingham left in a 2006 Gray Buick Envoy, and was later arrested by Marion Police Department. Clifford was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville where she is currently in stable condition.
Chase Bingham was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center where he was charged with the following:
- Assault 1st Degree, Domestic Violence
- Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon
Chase Bingham is also facing other charges from the Marion Police Department.
