
KSP Arrests Elkton Man for Theft
Patrick Crafton was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center
Elkton, KY (Todd County) – On March 23, 2019 at approximately 12:12 PM, Trooper Justin Cornett, of Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, observed a vehicle that was reported stolen, sitting in the parking lot of New Harmony Church.
Trooper Cornett observed Patrick Crafton, age 36, of Elkton, KY, exit the stolen vehicle. Upon making contact with Crafton, Trooper Cornett suspected him to be under the influence. After a series of tests, Trooper Cornett determined Crafton was under the influence, and discovered him to be in possession of multiple pills.
Through further investigation, Trooper Cornett also discovered Crafton had stolen a generator, which he was able to recover.
Patrick Crafton was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center where he was charged with the following:
1.) TBUT or Disposition Auto $500 or more but under $10,000
2.) Driving on DUI Suspended License 1st Offense
3.) DUI 2nd Offense
4.) TCS 3rd Degree 1st Offense Less than 20 DU-Drug Unspecified
5.) TBUT all Others $500 or More but Under $10,000
