KSP Charges Man after Escaping  Detention Center  

Nicholas Barbre, age 25, of Greenville, KY, fled from a rear door of the detention center

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) – On April 20, 2019 at approximately 4:13 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, received a call from the Muhlenberg County Detention Center stating an inmate had escaped.

The escapee, Nicholas Barbre, age 25, of Greenville, KY, fled from a rear door of the detention center in the direction of Pritchett Drive. He was located on Pritchett Drive by a Deputy Jailer, at approximately 5:29 PM. Barbre was taken into custody and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, where Trooper Curtis Crick, of Post 2 Madisonville, charged him with Escape 2^nd.
