KSP Search Warrant Leads to Multiple Arrests
Allensville, Ky. (Todd County) – On June 15, 2020, at approximately 5:30 PM, Trooper Brett Martin and other troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville, executed a search warrant at a residence on Pace St. in Allensville.
While executing the search warrant, they came in contact with 35-year-old James Carter, 66-year-old Billy Carter, 53-year-old Sherry Golden, 49-year-old Evlyn Carter, and a 10-year-old juvenile. A search of the residence resulted in drug paraphernalia, numerous prescription pills, a firearm, suspected marijuana, and suspected methamphetamine being discovered.
Billy Carter was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center, where he was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (<10 D.U. Drug Unspecified Schedule 1 and 2)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense
- Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
- Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree
- Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon
James Carter was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center, where he was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense- (> or = 2GMS Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
- Possession of Marijuana
Sherry Golden was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center, where she was charged with the following:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – (<10 D.U. Drug Unspecified Schedule 1 and 2)
- Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
- Wanton Endangerment- 1st Degree
Evlyn Carter was arrested and lodged in the Todd County Detention Center, Where she was charged with Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess.
