
KSP Arrests Princeton Man
Logan Ennis was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center
Nortonville, KY (Hopkins County) – On July 7, 2019, at approximately 7:59 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville received a call of a small, maroon passenger car speeding and driving recklessly on I-69, traveling northbound.
Trooper Cody Kromer made contact with the vehicle around the 105 mile marker on I-69, where the vehicle continued to operate recklessly. Trooper Kromer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle where he came in contact with the operator, Logan Ennis, age 22, of Princeton, KY, who appeared to be under the influence.
Further investigation revealed Ennis was under the influence, and had drug paraphernalia on his person. Inside the vehicle, Trooper Kromer discovered multiple prescription pills and suspected methamphetamine.
Logan Ennis was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was charged with the following:
1.) Reckless Driving
2.) Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence Alcohol/Drugs/ETC. .08 -3rd Offense
3.) Failure to Produce Insurance Card
4.) Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
5.) Possession Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree- Drug Unspecified
6.) Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
7.) Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense
8.) Possession Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree- Drug Unspecified
