Kentucky State Police Post 2 Experiencing Phone Outage

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (August 12, 2025) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 is currently experiencing phone outage’s after a lightning strike.

Non-emergency administrative lines have been transferred to backup cellular phones and are being answered by KSP telecommunicators at Post 2. KSP Post 2 can also be reached at the following numbers:

Calls for service are being answered; however, KSP requests the public’s patience with our telecommunicators as these transfers are in place. There is not a current estimated time of repair for the phone lines.
