KSP Investigating Fatal Collision in Todd County

Guthrie, Ky. (Todd County) – Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville received a call of a two vehicle collision near Guthrie on August 14, 2020 around 11:31 AM. Preliminary investigation revealed 24-year-old Christopher Stokes, of Guthrie, Ky., was operating a 2008 Hyundai Elantra eastbound on Graysville Road. 68-year-old Suzanne Reynolds, of Clarksville, Tn., was operating a 2017 Kia Forte westbound on Graysville road. Mr. Stokes, for unknown reasons, entered the westbound lane of travel and struck Mrs. Reynolds in a head on manner.

Mr. Stokes was transported to Tennova Hospital in Clarksville, Tn. for treatment of his injuries. Mrs. Reynolds was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Todd County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing by Sgt. Nick Rice.
