Kentucky State Police Arrests Cave City Man Following Pursuit 

Glasgow, KY. (February 02, 2025) – Bobby Wayne Johnson, 44, of Cave City, was arrested on several charges. Troopers observed Mr. Johnson traveling on Highway 90 in Glasgow without a visible registration plate and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Mr. Johnson refused to stop and began to flee. After a brief pursuit, Mr. Johnson was arrested and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. He was charged with the following:

• Speeding 26 MPH or greater
• Reckless driving
• Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (motor vehicle)
• Attempted Murder of a First Responder (police officer)
• Resisting Arrest
• Criminal Mischief
• Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (police officer)
• Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• DUI
• Driving DUI on Suspended License 3rd Offense
• Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree
• Failure to wear seat belt
• Disregarding stop sign
• No registration receipt
• No registration plates
• Failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st Offense
