Kentucky State Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Hart County

Munfordville, KY. (April 22, 2021) – On Thursday, April 22, 2021 at approximately 12:45pm, the Kentucky State Police, Post 3 received a 911 call in reference to a domestic disturbance between a mother and her adult son at 5475 Hammonsville Road in Hart County.  The caller advised her son had possession of a rifle and was being physically aggressive toward her.  During a physical altercation between the two, the adult male was shot by his mother.  Upon KSP arrival Troopers located the male with an apparent gunshot wound in the residence.  He was flown to University of Louisville Hospital where he is in stable condition.  The investigation continues and is being led by Kentucky State Police Detectives.  No arrests have been made at this time.
