Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. (April 26, 2026) – At just after 1:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 03, Bowling Green, received a call from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office about an injury collision involving a motorcycle. Troopers went on scene in the 1000 block of Macedonia Road. 

A preliminary investigation indicates that a black 2017 Harley Davidson operated by Remington James Matlock, 26, of Scottsville, was traveling north on Macedonia Road. Mr. Matlock’s motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a wooded fence post. Mr. Matlock was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner. 

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Grant Roberson. He was assisted at the scene by Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Allen County EMS, and other KSP personnel.
