Kentucky State Police Investigates Shooting Incident in Horse Cave 

Horse Cave, KY. (September 10, 2024) – At approximately 8:30 pm the Kentucky State Police and Hart County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in reference to the sound of gunshots. Units responded to the scene at L and N Turnpike Road and Waterloo Road. 

Upon arrival in the area Units were advised that the suspect had fled in to a wooded area near by.  A perimeter was set up around the wooded area, after hearing gun shots. After a breif standoff, the suspect Nicholas Noyes, 30, of Cecilia, Ky came out of the woods and was taken in to custody. Noyes was lodged at the Hart County jail. There were no injuries and there is no further threat to the community at this time.
