Kentucky State Police Conducts Murder Investigation 

PARK CITY, KY. (September 04, 2025) –At just before 10:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a request for assistance from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office regarding a death investigation. Troopers responded to a residence on East Third Street, where they discovered a deceased female with an apparent gunshot wound.

Following a preliminary investigation, Mr. Thomas J. Orlando, 40, of Glasgow, was taken into custody and transported to the Barren County Detention Center. Mr. Orlando has been charged with the following offenses.

• Murder-Domestic Violence 
• Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree

The investigation is ongoing and will led by Trooper Jonathan Carlock.
