Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Collision in Meade County

MULDRAUGH, Ky. (October 19, 2025) – The Kentucky State Police, Elizabethtown Post, was contacted just before 6:00 AM, Sunday, October 19, 2025, in reference to a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Dixie Highway (U.S. 31W) in Meade County.

The initial investigation indicates a Nissan sedan operated by Jordan Sanborn, 24, of Louisville, was traveling north on Dixie Highway and struck a pedestrian.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian, Troy Jackson, 34, of Louisville, was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by the Meade County Coroners Office. Jordan Sanborn was transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown with minor injuries.

Detective Brad Holloman is conducting the ongoing collision investigation. He was assisted on scene by Meade County Fire, Meade County EMS, and Meade County Coroner’s Office.
