Two Arrested for Drugs After Traffic Stop
Both were transported and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
(Elizabethtown, KY.) –Kentucky State Police Post 4 troopers conducted a traffic stop resulting in drug trafficking charges. On May 6, 2018 at approximately 1:13 EDT, while on routine patrol a Post 4 trooper observed a vehicle speeding westbound at the 132 mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway operated by Logan C. McKinney (20) of Paducah. Upon making contact with Mr. McKinney, a vehicle search was conducted and numerous types of illegal drugs were found including LSD and marijuana.
Logan C. McKinney (20) of Paducah was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense–LSD
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense—Drug Unspecified
- Trafficking in Marijuana 1st Degree, (Less than 8 ounces)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Failure to Notify Address Change to Department of Transportation
- Speeding 26 over (Limited Access)
Troopers also arrested the passenger, identified as:
Katherine Jo Adkins (19) of Georgetown and charged her with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense–LSD
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense—Drug Unspecified
- Trafficking in Marijuana 1st Degree, (Less than 8 ounces)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
