Kentucky State Police Arrest Nick Houck for Perjury

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (June 4, 2026) – Just after 1:30 p.m., Kentucky State Police (KSP) arrested Nicholas “Nick” Houck, 46, of Bardstown, Kentucky, on a Nelson County indictment warrant, following an investigation conducted by Kentucky State Police Post 4 detectives.

The investigation indicates that Houck allegedly committed perjury between 2015 and 2023. As a result, Houck was charged with Perjury in the First Degree, a Class D Felony under Kentucky law. A Class D Felony is punishable by one to five years imprisonment upon conviction.

Houck was taken into custody and lodged without incident. KSP Post 4 detectives are continuing the investigation. No further details will be provided at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation. 

As with all criminal cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
