Kentucky State Police Conducts Death Investigation Following House Fire 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation

Pleasureville, KY. (December 24, 2019) – On Tuesday December 24 at approximately 6:06, Post 5 was notified of a house fire at 5610 Franklinton Road.  Henry County Fire and EMS responded to the scene. After extinguishing the fire, a deceased individual was found inside the residence.

After Henry County Fire located the deceased male, they notified Kentucky State Police. Detectives from Post 5 responded to the scene. Preliminary investigation indicates no foul play suspected. Following an autopsy, the victim was identified as James Bullion, 67, of Pleasureville.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Detectives at Kentucky State Police Post 5. Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by Henry County Fire, EMS, and the Henry County Coroner.
