Kentucky State Police Post 5 Investigates Injury Collision In Carroll County

CARROLLTON, Ky (May 31, 2026) – One of the juvenile passengers has passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. Next of kin has been notified.

This collision remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by Trooper Votaw.

CARROLLTON, Ky (May 31, 2026) – Troopers from KSP Post 5 responded to a two-vehicle collision in Carroll County resulting in serious injuries. Preliminary investigation indicates that a white 2010 Nissan Altima driven by Daniel Crawford (44) of Carrollton, rear-ended a horse and buggy with 3 juveniles. The 3 juveniles were transported to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville for Life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving treatment.

This collision remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by Trooper Jordan Votaw.
