KSP Investigates Fatal Shooting in Trimble County

BEDFORD, KY. (March 23, 2020) – Kentucky State Police Post 5 is investigating the shooting death of Timothy Luke Webster, 48, of Madison, IN. On Saturday March 21st, 2020 just before midnight, Post 5 received a call from Herman Webster reporting that shots had been fired at 32 Callis Lane in Bedford. Upon arrival, Troopers discovered Timothy Webster deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Through investigation, it appears that Timothy arrived at the residence late that evening in an intoxicated state and began shooting a firearm inside the residence and making threats toward his father. Herman attempted to flee the residence and was followed by Timothy. While still on the property Herman fired a separate firearm, striking Timothy in the chest.  Timothy was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trimble County Coroner.

There have been no arrests and no charges filed in regards to this incident at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
