Kentucky State Police Post 6 Arrest 2 for Drugs, Guns in Harrison County
Dry Ridge, Ky. (January 13, 2026) – The Kentucky State Police Post 6, Dry Ridge, has arrested two individuals in Harrison County after an investigation and search warrant resulted in the discovery of illicit drugs and firearms. The investigation occurred on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, after Post 6 Troopers, Cyntiana Police Department and Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, received information that led to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence on Corinth Hinton Road, near the Grant and Harrison County line.
Troopers William Howard and Tanner Jones, along with deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant, where they recovered at the residence a significant quantity of various illicit and dangerous drugs, including roughly 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine, nearly 500 pills, and more. All of the drugs recovered at the scene were packaged for distribution. In addition to the drugs, 42 firearms were seized from the residence as part of the investigation.
The two individuals arrested include Charolet Chambers (61-year-old female of Corinth) and Carolyn Traylor (65-year-old female of Corinth). Both were lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center.
Charolet Chambers is charged with the following:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine)
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Date Rape Drug)
- Trafficking in Prescription Blanks for Legend Drugs
- Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz.) 1st Offense
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Carolyn Traylor is charged with the following.
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine)
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Date Rape Drug)
- Trafficking in Prescription Blanks for Legend Drugs
- Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 oz.) 1st Offense
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
