KSP Conducting Search for Missing 11-Year-Old from Robertson County

Dry Ridge, Ky. (November 4, 2025) – On November 3, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 6 – Dry Ridge received a report from Lenora Thornsberry, a resident of Robertson County, KY, that her 11-year-old daughter, Addelyn Thornsberry, was missing.

Ms. Thornsberry informed troopers that her daughter had a cell phone with the Life360 tracking application installed, but she was unable to locate her using the app. Addelyn was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue pants, and white tennis shoes.

KSP troopers responded to the residence, spoke with family members, and coordinated with Robertson County Emergency Management to begin a search of the surrounding area. Due to darkness and cold weather conditions, KSP aircraft were requested to assist with aerial search efforts.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., the family located a video posted earlier in the afternoon by Addelyn, indicating her intent to run away. KSP obtained a copy of the video and continued search operations despite this new information. The aerial search did not yield any results.

Throughout the night, KSP received several tips from the public regarding possible sightings of Addelyn earlier in the day. Each lead was investigated; however, Addelyn remains missing at this time.

Addelyn Thornsberry has been entered as a missing person in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. Sergeant Satterly has assumed responsibility for the ongoing investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Addelyn Thornsberry is urged to contact KSP Post 6 at (859) 428-1212 or their local law enforcement agency.
