UPDATED: KSP Investigates Murder in Bracken County

Augusta, Ky. (December 14, 2018) — Kentucky State Police Detectives from Post 6, Dry Ridge, are currently at 517 E 2nd St in Augusta, KY conducting a Murder investigation. The investigation is in the preliminary stages.

 Update: On December 14, 2018  at approximately 8:23 am Bracken County Dispatch received a call about a dog that was without its owner. Upon units arrival they attempted to make contact with the dog’s owner. At this time Bracken County Sheriff’s Department and Augusta Police Department located a deceased male. Kentucky State Police were then contacted to conduct a death investigation. Once Detectives arrived on scene it was determined that, James Lyndon Gordley 59 year old male from Augusta, had been murdered.

 

Through the investigation and help from the community multiple suspects were identified and interviewed. Based on the investigation and interview three suspects were arrested and charged in connection with the murder.

 

Arica Woodruff, 29 year old Female, from Maysville, KY was charged with Murder and lodged at Mason County Detention Center.

 

Dagoberto Ramos, 32 year old Male, from Seaman, OH was charged with Murder and lodged at Mason County Detention Center.

 

Nelson Ramos, 27 year old Male, from Seaman, OH was charged with Murder and lodged at Adams County, OH Detention Center and awaiting extradition.

 

Kentucky State Police were assisted by Bracken County Sheriff’s Office, Augusta Police Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Maysville Police Department and the Adams County OH Sheriff’s Office.

 

The investigation continues and is being led by Detective Isaac Waters.
