KSP Investigates Bank Robbery in Robertson County  

Detective Charles Haselwood with Kentucky State Police, Post 6 Dry Ridge, is leading the investigation

Mount Olivet, Ky. (February 25, 2019) — Kentucky State Police, Post 6 Dispatch Center, received a 911 call at approximately 2:58 pm from Electronic Services (Alarm Company) in reference to a panic alarm that was activated at Citizens Bank in Mount Olivet.

After law enforcement arrived on scene it was determined that a forcible robbery had occurred. Preliminary investigation shows that two males entered the bank with their faces covered and demanded money from not only the tellers, but the patrons inside. During the process of demanding money one of the individuals involved shoved a patron and took the money they were there to deposit. The two left the bank and traveled South on Main Street.
