
Kentucky State Police Conduct Death Investigation

Demossville, KY. (June 15, 2021) – The Kentucky State Police Post 6, in Dry Ridge, confirms the Death Investigation from May 28, 2021, is being investigated as a double homicide.

Demossville, KY. (May 31, 2021) – The Kentucky State Police Post 6, in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, is investigating the death of two individuals in the Demossville Community of Pendleton County.
On the morning of May 28, 2021, Kentucky State Police Post 6 received a call reporting two deceased individuals on Straub Lane. Troopers and Detectives responded to the area and located Dillon K. Carpenter (28), of Demossville, and Madison J. Klups (24), of Springboro, Ohio, fatally wounded by gunfire.
The Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office and the Pendleton County Coroner.
The investigation is ongoing and the Kentucky State Police is seeking any information which could assist in the investigation.
