Kentucky State Police Post 6 to Participate in Special Olympics Torch Run

DRY RIDGE, Ky. (June 2, 2026) –On June 3, 2026, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 6 will participate in a Torch Run for the Special Olympics in Grant County. The event will begin at 103 Barnes Road, Williamstown, KY, in the parking lot near the Dollar Store at 9:00 a.m. From there, participants will run to the Grant County Courthouse located at 107 N. Main Street. Along the route, Special Olympic athletes will join the run at the Williamstown Fire Department on Main Street. Other participating agencies include Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Williamstown Police Department, Dry Ridge Police Department, Ark Encounter Public Safety, Grant County Detention Center, and Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. We encourage community members to attend the event and cheer on the athletes along the route or at the finish line.
