
Murder Investigation Arrest in Pendleton County
Falmouth, Ky. (August 22, 2025) –On August 3, 2025, the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kentucky State Police (KSP) to investigate the death of a female found on Old 3L Highway. The initial report indicated that a man named David O’Hara had gone to another residence and claimed that Donna Gibson was deceased at a residence on Old 3L Highway. A deputy responded to the scene and discovered her body inside the home. KSP was then notified and sent detectives from KSP Post 6 to process the scene.
That night, David O’Hara was arrested on unrelated warrants and taken to the Grant County Detention Center. As the investigation progressed, David O’Hara was indicted in Pendleton County on charges of murder, tampering with evidence, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree. The warrants were served on him at the Grant County Detention Center on August 20, 2025.
