KSP Investigates Death in Kenton County UPDATE

Update: (May 1, 2018 11:45am) The individual that was involved in the traffic stop and has died is being identified as Robert J Ennis, 29 years old from Cincinnati, OH. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow morning in Frankfort, KY to determine the cause of death. 

 Covington, Ky. (May 1, 2018) — Detectives from the Kentucky State Police Post 6, Dry Ridge are investigating a death that occurred near the Kroger on Decoursey Ave in Covington, KY.

Officers with the Covington Police Department were attempting to affect an arrest on an individual that died during the arrest.

At this time the investigation is in the preliminary stages and information will be provided as it becomes available.
