Kentucky State Police Investigation Leads to Arrests of Two Former Winchester Youth Soccer League Board Members
WINCHESTER, Ky. (June 24, 2026) – In October 2025, the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, was contacted by the Winchester Youth Soccer League, Inc., regarding suspicious and unusual banking activity involving one or more members of the organization’s board of directors.
Detectives with Kentucky State Police Post 7 began an investigation into the allegations. Following several months of investigation, the findings were presented to the Clark County Attorney’s Office in June 2026.
As a result, an arrest warrant was obtained and served on Ashley Ritchie-Rowland earlier today, a former board member of the Winchester Youth Soccer League, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization responsible for governing and operating the youth soccer leagues serving Winchester and Clark County children and families. Ashley Ritchie-Rowland was arrested and lodged in the Clark County Detention Center.
An arrest warrant was also obtained and served on Ben Dorsey, also a former board member of the Winchester Youth Soccer League, Inc. Dorsey was taken into custody and lodged in the Clark County Detention Center.
The investigation remains ongoing by KSP Post 7 Detective Frank Thornberry.
