Wolfe County House Fire

This incident remains under investigation

Wolfe County, Ky.  (November 23^rd, 2019) On Saturday, November 23^rd at approximately 4:15  PM, Kentucky State Police Post 8 Morehead responded to the scene of a house fire on Harvest Church Loop Road in Campton, KY.

 

Kentucky State Police, Wolfe County Sheriff’s Department, the Wolfe County Coroner, Officials with The State Fire Marshall’s Office and the Wolfe County Fire Department responded to the scene.  Kentucky State Police remained on scene throughout the night.  During the course of the investigation, unidentified remains were located.  The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.  The structure was a total loss. This incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 8.
