Kentucky State Police Post 8 Investigates Fatal Collision in Fleming County

EWING, Ky. (December, 27, 2025) – On Saturday, December 27 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Kentucky State Police (KSP) post 8 was contacted by Fleming County Dispatch requesting assistance with a single vehicle fatal collision around the 3600 block of Ewing Road.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Sean A. Parker, 55 of Germantown Kentucky, was operating his Chevrolet Silverado pickup on Ewing Road when he dropped off the shoulder of the roadway causing him to lose control. After leaving the roadway, Mr. Parker struck a culvert causing the truck to overturn several times, ejecting him from the truck.  Mr. Parker was pronounced deceased by Fleming County Coroner.

KSP was assisted on scene by Flemingsburg Police Department, Fleming County Sheriff’s Department, Fleming County EMS, Ewing Fire Department and Fleming County Coroner’s Office. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Marvin Morris.
