Kentucky State Police Open Death Investigation in Johnson County

(April 20, 2019) Kentucky State Police open a death investigation in Johnson County after learning of a body discovered in a pond on the Paintsville golf course.

After the Johnson County Authorities requested assistance on the case, Troopers and Detectives were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the detectives were informed about a body, which was discovered one of the ponds on the golf course. The body had been removed by the Johnson County Coroner’s office and an Autopsy was scheduled for Monday morning at the Medical Examiner’s office in Frankfort.
