KSP Investigates Murder in Pike County  

PIKEVILLE, KY (July 02, 2018) Kentucky State Police, Pikeville Post, is investigating the death of an unidentified person in the Pikeville community of Pike County.

On July 02, 2018, Post 09 received a call from the homeowner of a residence on Sunshine Lane in the Pikeville community of Pike County.  The caller advised KSP Post 09 dispatchers there was shots fired at the residence.  Troopers and Detectives arrived at the scene and discovered three males with gunshot wounds.  Two of the males are being treated at a local medical facility for non-life threatening injuries.  The unidentified male was located deceased at the scene.   Pike Deputy Coroner Zeb Hampton and Tran Star EMS also responded to the scene. 

KSP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a blue Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows that is possibly connected to this incident.  

This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detective Jason Dials.
