Kentucky State Police Issued Golden Alert in Martin County

WARFIELD, Ky. (September 11, 2025) – Earnest Dingess has been located and is safe.

**Original Release**

WARFIELD, Ky. (September 11, 2025) –The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is asking for the public’s assistance as part of an ongoing missing person investigation of a Martin County man.

Earnest Dingess, 73 of Warfield was last seen leaving his residence on Dingess Road in the Warfield community on September 10, 2025 at approximately 7:00 a.m.

Dingess is described as a white male 5’11’’ tall, roughly 190 pounds, with blue eyes. He is a diabetic and requires insulin.
