KUTTAWA, KY (April 20, 2017) – Kentucky State Police Post 1 Detectives, along with Clarksville TN Police Detectives, have finished processing the scene and collecting evidence from the area of the burglary at Rocky Ridge RV Park in Lyon County. Shortly before 5:00 p.m., Clarksville PD Detectives arrived on scene.
They, along with KSP Detectives, remained on scene until approximately 8:00 p.m. collecting evidence related to both states’ investigations.
Quintin D. Bird, the suspect in the Lyon County, Kentucky Burglary and Clarksville TN Murder, was released from Caldwell County Hospital at approximately 8:00 p.m. Upon his release from the hospital, Bird was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Fugitive from Justice (for the TN charge of Criminal Homicide) and taken to the Christian County Jail.
The investigation is continuing by KSP and Clarksville TN Police Department.
